What Is the Meaning of the 12/12 Portal and How Can You Harness It?
Believing in something unseen can feel counterintuitive in a world that values tangible proof. But some of the most meaningful transformations come when we trust what we can feel, even if we can’t explain it!!!
What Is the 12/12 Portal?
The 12/12 portal is rooted in numerology and spiritual traditions that emphasize the symbolic power of numbers. The number 12 often represents completion and cosmic order—it’s the number of months in a year, zodiac signs, and even hours on a clock. On December 12th, this repeating sequence is thought to amplify its energy, creating a “gateway” to higher awareness. People often describe the 12/12 portal as a time when the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is thinner. It’s an invitation to step into alignment with your highest self, shed old patterns, and set powerful intentions for the future.
“Breathwork” is the practice of consciously using the breath or breathing techniques for a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual benefit. As we breathe through the mouth & nose in connected cycles, the fight or flight system (sympathetic nervous system is activated), which can bring up latent stress in the nervous system, body, mind, past memories, emotions and stuck energy which can be transmuted or let go of. Breathwork can trigger past traumas or latent stress in the body/mind, bring up memories, induce a trance-like state and touch a much more primal aspect of your yourself. I jokingly say it’s like “getting high on your own supply”!!!

As the leaves begin to change and the days grow shorter, the transition from summer to fall brings more than just cooler temperatures and pumpkin-spiced everything. For many, the changing seasons can also bring a shift in mood and mental health. While autumn can be a time of reflection and renewal for some, others may find themselves struggling with feelings of sadness, fatigue, or anxiety as daylight decreases and routines change. Understanding how seasonal changes impact mental health is important for recognizing the signs of seasonal depression and taking steps to maintain your mental well-being.
According to the American Psychiatric Association, some Americans experience seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a form of depression that comes on in the fall/ winter and is thought to be related to decreased exposure to sunlight. Symptoms of SAD include negative mood, changes in appetite and sleep patterns, and decreased energy. But it’s not just our moods that shift with the changing of the seasons. In a new review (Hohm, Wormley, Schaller, & Varnum, 2023) found that seasons affect a wide range of mental and behavioral phenomena. Seasons also affect sex, aggression, and generosity. Our aesthetic preferences and cognitive abilities also vary throughout the year and change with the seasons.
Why Seasons Affect Us
There are a number of reasons why seasons may affect us the way that they do. Some of these reasons have to do with changes in exposure to sunlight as is likely the case with SAD or seasonal variation in sexual activity. In other cases, such as seasonal variation in generosity, the cultural associations we hold with different times of year, such as the traditions and norms surrounding Christmas, may be driving the effect.

Join us for a special evening of Gratitude, many thanks and blessings as we celebrate the past year’s success’s, failures, triumphs, travesties and evolution as a collective. We have come so far this year and its and honor to of experienced it with you all!!
As a way of showing our gratitude we will be offering buy one ticket get one free this evening!!! We can only seat 30 people in total and so only 15 tickets total have been made available. All tickets must be purchased online and will be first come first served until sold out. If you are purchasing a ticket and do not intend of bringing a friend, please notify me.
We will begin the evening with a potluck style Friendsgiving food buffet. Please bring a food item that all may enjoy of your choosing. You can bring a casserole, fruit/veggie tray, desert, turkey/ham, rolls or a pie. We will then enjoy each other’s company, a special gratitude prayer and discussion around this year’s energy, what the future and or 2026 may have to offer.
We will then share a gratitude ritual so please bring your journal & pen for a lovely exercise to fill our hearts with joy!!!
We will end our special evening with a Sound Immersion leaving you with feelings of peace, euphoria, and reverence for the all!!!
